This two-part knitting workshop series designed for both beginners and those eager to refresh their skills.

Week 1: Knitting foundations
We'll cover the essential techniques every aspiring knitter should master, and practice the two fundamental stitches: the knit and the purl. Learn how to pick the best yarn for your project, and the importance of swatching.
Week 2: Put it all together!
Building upon the skills acquired in the first workshop, you'll work on a coaster project in the second session. Learn how to read knitting patterns (as well as your stitches), fix common mistakes, and put the finishing touches on a knitting project.

What you take home: A coaster and basic knitting kit

What's provided:

  • Guided practice on basic stitches and pattern reading

  • Project instructions

  • Yarn, needles, and notions

What to bring: A beginner's mind! If you have yarn and needles at home that you want to use for the coaster project, feel free to bring them in.
